The VIGIL CLOUD Dashboard is designed to give you a centralized view of your video surveillance system the moment you log in. The dashboard provides you with quick access to what’s happening in your business, providing everything you need to monitor and investigate.
This post will walk you through what the VIGIL CLOUD Dashboard has to offer, highlight its key features, and explain how you can take advantage of them.
The VIGIL CLOUD Dashboard is the starting point when you log in, offering quick access to the most used tools.
Once logged in, VIGIL CLOUD offers:
The dashboard brings several essential features together in one centralized place to give you an overview of your business’s video surveillance and activity.
By clicking the bell icon, you can access system alerts that, when clicked, take you directly to the associated event for review.
Click your name in the top right corner to access your account details, find helpful resources, and log out.
At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see your bookmarked cameras displayed. The default view displays four camera feeds, but the Show more button will expand the menu to show all bookmarked cameras.
Bookmarked cameras display still images of your cameras, but refresh with new images approximately every hour. Clicking a camera image opens a live feed.
This feature displays the total number of cameras online and highlights any cameras that may be offline, making it easier to identify potential blind spots.
To the right of the camera statuses, you can view active cases grouped by location. You can either select a location or choose See All to look at the full list.
Clicking a location will take you into the Case Management dashboard for greater details.
View the most recently accessed cases in this panel, allowing you to quickly resume ongoing investigations.
Get an overview of what other users are doing in Case Management, such as case sharing, downloads, and updates.
Quickly navigate back to locations that you have recently accessed, like the recent cases feature.
Finally, at the bottom, you’ll find terms of service, privacy policies, and browser compatibility information.
