VIGIL 13 makes it simple to start an ANPR search. Just double-click the ‘search’ button in the analytics tab, and you’ll see many options to filter your results. You can search by date, time, camera, or even a specific plate number.
You can also narrow down your search by filtering for the vehicle’s country of origin, category, or color. One standout feature is the ability to search by make and model, giving you even more detailed results.
VIGIL 13 uses confidence levels to show how accurately it has identified a license plate. If a plate is hard to read due to poor conditions, the confidence level will be lower. You can set a minimum confidence threshold to ensure you only see high-quality results.
The system also compares each detected plate with a database to trigger actions like alarms. This means you can set up custom responses for specific plates, adding another layer of security.
After entering your search criteria and clicking the ‘search’ button, you’ll see a list of results with plate details and confidence levels. Click on a result to view a thumbnail of the license plate and watch the associated video clip. You can zoom in for a closer look or compare it to a larger image in the database.
