The VX-8S-180-AWD is a 180° panoramic IP camera engineered for wide-area coverage
and industry-leading low-light performance. Its CMOS image sensors deliver crystal-
clear color images down to 0.29 lux, maintaining visibility in lighting conditions that
challenge conventional low-light cameras.
Designed for flexible deployment, the camera supports motion detection, 3D digital
noise reduction, DWDR, audio and alarm support, and compatibility with a wide variety
of standardized network protocols. It operates in temperatures ranging from -30°C (-
22°F) to 50°C (122°F), supporting reliable performance across diverse environments.
Dual-streaming compression enables high-quality recording while allowing efficient live
viewing from remote locations. With support for both variable bit rate and variable frame
rate, each stream can be optimized to match available bandwidth. When paired with
VIGIL Series Network Video Recorders and Video Management System software, point-
to-point hardware compression and decompression enhance live video performance,
enabling improved video quality, support for more concurrent streams, and reduced CPU impact.
