The VX-5M20-B-RIAL is a 5MP license plate capture camera engineered for accurate plate imaging in low-light and high-speed environments. Featuring a 6-50mm varifocal lens and firmware dedicated to license plate capture, the camera delivers 5MP resolution at 30fps. A specialized visible light filter blocks visible light while allowing the IR band to pass through, enhancing plate accuracy. Continuous 850nm IR illumination with an 80-foot (24m) range supports reliable capture in extreme low-light conditions, and at speeds up to 80 kph (50 mph), the camera captures license plate images at distances up to 60 feet (18m). The camera is compatible with the full VIGIL Software Suite, including VIGIL Client, the View Lite II mobile app, and VIGIL Central Management for remote health monitoring and notifications. The bullet form factor supports flexible installation, while the IP67-rated enclosure, IK9 vandal resistance, and operating temperature range of -30°C (-22°F) to 60°C (140°F) ensure reliable performance in harsh outdoor conditions.
