The VX-5M-OD-RIAW is a 5MP outdoor IP camera engineered for flexible deployment and
reliable performance across demanding environments. Featuring a remote focus lens,
the camera allows installers to adjust focus without manual lens manipulation,
supporting efficient setup and optimized coverage.
The IP67-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water, while IK10 vandal
resistance supports installation in exposed or high-risk areas. With 120dB Wide Dynamic
Range and built-in 98-foot (30m) IR illumination, the camera delivers balanced image quality in
high-contrast scenes and dependable performance in low-light conditions, making it
suitable for a wide range of outdoor applications.
Supporting H.264 and H.265 compression along with dual streaming, the VX-5M-OD-
RIAW enables high-quality recording while optimizing bandwidth usage. When combined
with VIGIL Server’s Substream Motion Detection and RapidStream technologies, users
can view live and playback video remotely with minimal impact on network performance.
Fully compatible with the VIGIL Software Suite, the camera supports direct access
through VIGIL Client and the View Lite II mobile app, as well as integration with VIGIL
Central Management for remote health monitoring and notifications.
As part of the All-in-One Series, the VX-5M-OD-RIAW includes onboard storage and, with
appropriate licensing, supports installation of VIGIL Server directly on the camera. This
enables standalone recording with local storage, as well as redundant recording to a
separate VIGIL Server.
