The VA-2MD-OD-RIWH-02 is a 2MP 1080p HD analog dome camera designed to
modernize legacy analog systems without replacing existing coaxial cabling. Featuring a
high-performance CMOS sensor, it delivers high-resolution, low-distortion, and low-
noise video suitable for both camera replacement and new analog installations.
The camera supports automatic detection of 24VAC and 12VDC power, with a pigtail
included to convert power to a female plug when replacing an existing analog device.
Remote focus capability simplifies installation and adjustment, while integrated infrared
illumination and wide dynamic range enhance performance across varied lighting
conditions. As a true day and night camera, it operates down to 0 lux with IR, supported
by an IR cut filter with automatic switching for improved nighttime image quality. The
operating temperature range of -30° C (-22° F) to 50°C (122° F) supports dependable
performance across diverse environments.
When integrated with VIGIL Server, the camera benefits from compatibility with VIGIL
products, enabling centralized management and advanced functionality. VIGIL Server
provides intuitive operation for basic users while supporting advanced flexibility for
complex deployments. Remote access through VIGIL Client and View Lite II utilities
enables secure monitoring from single or multiple remote locations.
By leveraging VIGIL Server features such as Smart Search, motion recording, alarms, and
efficient playback review, the VISIX Analog HD camera line enhances surveillance
capability while preserving existing infrastructure and reducing upgrade costs.
