Description

The VIGIL SDK provides a comprehensive set of development tools that enable full integration between VIGIL Server and third-party security applications and hardware devices. Designed for development partners, it allows live and recorded video from VIGIL Server to be embedded directly into custom applications, delivering a more unified and efficient security solution. Built on a COM architecture, the SDK supports modern development languages and tools, including .NET and C#, providing flexibility across a wide range of development environments. Its object-oriented design simplifies implementation, enabling developers to focus on building functionality rather than managing low-level integration complexity.

The SDK supports access to and control of PTZ functions within the VMS, as well as monitoring and triggering alarms through integrated workflows. Developers can also review and present POS data parsed and stored within the VMS, enabling synchronized transaction and video data within external applications. Included within the SDK are an Application Programming Interface, sample source code, and documentation to accelerate development and deployment. By integrating previously discrete systems into a cohesive solution, partners can deliver improved functionality, streamlined operations, and enhanced value to end users.
