POS exceptions, such as manually entered values, voids, or no sales, can indicate potential system manipulation. V-POS enables users to query transactions by date, time, camera, transaction type, value, item code, cashier, or receipt number and immediately view synchronized video of the associated transaction. By establishing flexible, user-defined exception rules, Loss Prevention investigators can automatically monitor for specific events, including cashier-specific voids or no sales, and receive real-time alerts when activity falls outside defined parameters.
This supports a shift from reactive investigation to proactive monitoring, helping LP teams identify trends, capture transaction details, and improve overall store performance. V-POS can generate automated POS exception reports based on configured rules, providing structured insights into transactional activity.
