The NVR-1U-8CH is a low-cost, high-performance small business security solution that combines recording, management, and cameras into a complete, easy-to-deploy system. Designed for cost-conscious commercial environments, it delivers reliable high-definition video and streamlined operation for small and medium businesses, healthcare, warehouse and distribution, and K-12 schools.
Equipped with an Intel Celeron processor and supporting up to 64MP resolution, the recorder provides strong performance for everyday surveillance needs. It includes 8 IP licenses as standard, a 256GB SSD drive, and embedded PoE+ support for PTZ functionality, simplifying installation while reducing additional hardware requirements.
The system runs 3xLOGIC’s VIGIL security server software on Windows or Linux® OS. The Windows-based NVR includes local VIGIL CLIENT capabilities, while the Linux® option connects to VIGIL CLIENT on a local PC. VIGIL delivers improved user control, increased performance, enhanced 360 de-warping, and ONVIF-M support with streamlined camera onboarding, enabling efficient system management and integration beyond traditional security use cases.
The included VISIX 4MP mini-dome and mini-bullet cameras are designed for flexible deployment across a wide range of areas and climates. Offering high-definition video with clarity and detail in varying lighting conditions, these cameras combine aesthetic appeal with dependable performance for commercial surveillance applications.
