Description
The VH-DECODER-4K is a flexible, high-definition video decoder designed for public view
monitors and spot monitor applications. Supporting both 4K and 1080p IP video
decoding up to 8MP resolution, it provides a cost-effective alternative to HDMI or VGA
cable limitations by connecting directly to the camera network.
The decoder supports H.264 and H.265 video streams, as well as HD and analog streams
from a server, delivering broad compatibility across deployments. It can operate as a
standalone device or in conjunction with VIGIL Server, enabling scalable video display
without complex infrastructure changes.
With support for up to 16 total channels, users can display multiple cameras on a single
monitor using flexible layouts including 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, or 16-screen modes.
Outputs include HDMI up to 4K 2K 30fps, VGA up to 1080p 60fps, and CVBS (D1), with
simultaneous display across BNC, VGA, and HDMI connections. Audio is supported via
HDMI.
The Decoder Setup Utility enables rapid configuration, allowing video to be displayed
within minutes. Advanced configuration through a native web-based interface supports
two-way audio, alarm I/O, and serial communication, tailoring the device to specific
operational needs.
