Description
The INFINIAS EIDC+ is a compact, network-connected single-door controller designed for streamlined installation and dependable edge access control. Mounted directly at the door in a standard double-gang box, the EIDC+ reduces wiring complexity by using a single Cat 5/Cat 6 cable to deliver both power and data via PoE, or alternatively 24VDC.
Built to support modern and legacy reader technologies, the controller accommodates up to 2 Wiegand or OSDP readers and multiple credential types. Secure TLS 1.2-encrypted communications, OSDP support, 3-state alarm monitoring, and anti-passback functionality enhance the protection of people, property, and data.
The EIDC+ connects to existing network infrastructure and supports both DHCP and static IP addressing, making deployment simple in a wide range of environments. Designed for resilience, it buffers up to 16,000 local events when disconnected from the host, ensuring continued operation during network interruptions.
Supporting lock control, request to exit (REX), alarm bypass, door contact, and configurable inputs, the EIDC+ delivers the flexibility required for single-door applications or scalable multi-door expansions. Its compact footprint and single-cable architecture reduce on-site time while maintaining the performance and security expected from an IP-based access control solution.
