INFINIAS Tutorial: How to Reset Your On-Prem Software Password

Locked out? An administrator can restore your access without compromising security:

1. The admin logs in and navigates to the People tab.
2. They locate your user record and click “Edit.”
3. By selecting Generate Temporary Password, they create a one-time login credential.
4. Once saved, these temporary details are shared with you.
5. Log in using the temp password, then immediately reset to a new permanent password following the self-service steps above.

Note: Temporary passwords expire after first use to ensure your account stays secure.

• Rotate regularly: Change passwords every 60-90 days.
• Unique credentials: Never reuse passwords across different systems.
